Annalisa Marzola: “Trees”

She has always been passionate by the art of photography and uses the camera as a tool to capture what too often escapes our eyes. She lives in Farindola, a charming mountain village in the province of Pescara, in the Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga National Park where Art and Nature blend into a wonderful and unique sight.

“We have much to learn from the Nature that surrounds us and in particular from trees. The tree lives its life in the same place and yet lives a full life to which everyone should aspire. Even when all seems lost, and when a bleak winter strips away its beautiful foliage, the tree is there, doesn’t give up, transforms difficulty into opportunity and its bare branches reach out towards Heaven, already dreaming of spring! Its fallen leaves are not just waste, but rather jewels that the tree gifts back to the Earth, for Mother Nature to dress herself in the winter and to blossom forth with new life in spring.”
