These pieces have been painted over several years and styles but the connecting thread is a theme of deconstructing and minimalising,

be it in a very literal form, pulling apart and reconstructing tiles, painting flowers and stones out of their natural environment, or reducing aerial views to abstract shapes and colours. This approach comes naturally to me as, being from many places, I seek to draw the essential from each.
