Alison Thomas is best known for her curious and colourful circus paintings which are fun, quirky and intruiging all at the same time.

A lot of her inspiration comes from fairy tales as well as real-life experiences and she is influenced by artists such as Paul Klee, Gustav Klimt and Marc Chagall.
Animals feature strongly in her work, especially horses and dogs for which she has a great love.
She has exhibited work in various galleries throughout the UK and also France and Italy.
